The Story
Traditional Barolo without the fuss. The Brovia sisters farm their vines organically in Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga, and this classic bottling pulls Nebbiolo from across their holdings into one gorgeously balanced package. Imported by Neal Rosenthal since 1978, the estate is old-school to the core: indigenous yeasts, long fermentations in glass-lined concrete, patient aging in big Slavonian casks. The result shows the tar-and-roses soul of Nebbiolo with ripe, almost sexy fruit and real terroir underneath. It'll reward a few years in the cellar, but there's no crime in opening one now.
