Owned by Gérard Perse since 1998, the estate sits on a south-facing limestone plateau that gives Pavie its signature combination of power and minerality. The 2020 is 50% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, balance Cabernet Sauvignon, raised in 75% new French oak. Still very young, this is a wine for the long haul—decant aggressively or, better, cellar for a decade.
