The Story
Domaine Eden is the more approachable sister label to legendary Mount Eden Vineyards, high in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The Pinot is a mosaic of Dijon clones (777, 667, 828) alongside historic California selections (Mount Eden, Calera, Swan), dry-farmed and made low-intervention with native yeasts and no fining or filtration. The 2021 is the current release and shows the softer, fruitier face of the Mount Eden style: about 90% Domaine Eden fruit plus a touch of Mount Eden estate, aged in older barrels for a more open, generous expression. Youthful and aromatic now, with a decade or so of life ahead.
