The Story
The Pearl Thief is the Mockrishes' white blend from Renaissance Vineyard in North Yuba, where rocky volcanic soils sit at elevation in the Sierra Foothills. Equal parts Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, whole-cluster pressed, native-fermented and aged eleven months on the lees with no fining or filtering and only a whisper of SO2 at bottling. The result is a textured, deeply aromatic white that nods to Bordeaux's white tradition but speaks with a distinctly Sierra accent.
