Jacques-Frederic Mugnier Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuees 2023

Les Fuees sits at the northern end of Chambolle-Musigny, bordering Bonnes Mares, and it shows: this is the firmer, more structured of Mugnier's two Chambolle Premier Crus, with a little more grip and darker fruit than the ethereal Amoureuses. Still, this is Mugnier, so structure arrives wrapped in perfume and silk. A classic, age-worthy Chambolle 1er Cru, and produced in small quantity.
