The Story
A single-cask cognac from Grande Champagne—the premier cru of Cognac's six terroirs—distilled in 2004 and bottled unblended. Part of Pierre Ferrand's Collection Privée, each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Grande Champagne's chalky, limestone-rich soils produce eaux de vie with the greatest aging potential in the Cognac region, and two decades in oak have allowed this vintage to develop considerable depth and nuance. A snapshot of one place, one year, one barrel.
