The Story
Often mistaken for a relative of Beaucastel's Famille Perrin, Domaine Roger Perrin is a distinct family estate now in its third generation, currently run by Xavier following the early deaths of his grandfather Roger and uncle Luc. Their Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc draws from some of the oldest white-grape vines in the appellation, planted in 1921 - a blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, and a touch of Bourboulenc. Vinification mixes steel tank and French oak for six to seven months before bottling. The result is a Chateauneuf Blanc with richness and depth but also freshness - traditional, balanced, and built to develop.
