The Story
Vincent Ledy is one of the young, exciting voices to emerge from Nuits-Saint-Georges in recent years — a small-scale grower making thoughtful, terroir-driven Pinot Noir at a moment when so much of Burgundy feels out of reach. Les Porets-Saint-Georges is one of the village's top 1er Crus, sitting on the southern side of Nuits near the famous Les Saint-Georges. The wines from this part of the appellation tend to be structured and serious — the muscular, ageworthy face of Nuits. 2022 gave Pinot Noir ripe, generous fruit with surprisingly good freshness.
