This is the 'dit PPT' bottling of the Aviet family's beloved Trousseau from Caveau de Bacchus in Montigny-les-Arsures, the multi-parcel Cuvee des Geologues blend (Ruzard, Rosieres, Poussot and Nonceau). Trousseau is the Jura's most characterful red grape, and the Cuvee des Geologues line shows its rich, structured side. Blended from four hillside plots, this 2021 leans into the variety's wild, perfumed personality. Expect red berries and cherry, an earthy, almost savory edge and a peppery lift, all on a light-to-medium frame with fine tannins. A terroir-driven Jura red for the curious drinker.
